smell or burn your candles to pick your favorite(s). use only in small spaces (they are tiny!). the scent of a full size candle will cover bigger areas.
Remember that our sense of smell is personal and subjective, but we promise you that we use the maximum fragrance load that natural soy wax safely tolerates.
caring for your artisan, eco-friendly candle.
• Soy wax has memory. Your first burn is the most important.
• For your first burn, keep your candle lit to allow the top to fully melt until the wax pool touches the edges. This is crucial for maximizing the life of your candle and preventing tunneling during your next burn.
• ALWAYS trim the wick to ¼” before each light to ensure longevity and minimal soot.
• Do NOT burn your candle for more than 3-4 hours at a time.
• Do NOT light the candle when there is just ½” – ¼” of wax left. At that point, you can use a candle warmer to enjoy the rest of your candle.
• ALWAYS keep candles within sight and never burn around items that can catch fire.
• Keep away from children and pets at all times.

Please read the warning label at the bottom of your candle before lighting it. burn only on a fireproof surface. We also include a safety and care instructions card in every basket. Keep it handy and reference it frequently. We want you to be safe!

When your candle solidifies after burning, you might notice small holes or crystallization. Do not worry. This is how all-natural soy wax candles sometimes behave, confirming that you are burning a high-quality candle in your home. When you relight your candle, soy wax will melt and perform normally.
I am a book translator and editor by trade. You can say that being detail-oriented is in my DNA! I handcraft each artisan candle with the utmost care and love. But, sometimes, if you look with “editor’s eyes,” you may notice imperfections. For example: wet spots (when the wax is not adhering 100% to the glass), slightly off-centered label, some wax discoloration, etc. Please rest assured that none of these affect the quality of your candle.
